Acadiana still has a little more wet weather to get through before we start to see patchy sunshine again.
Light rains are expected to move fairly quickly across the region late Friday evening and lasting until just after midnight.
An increase in moisture and light winds could allow for some patchy fog to form early Saturday morning, but models are indicating the clouds should start breaking up by mid-morning.
The majority of the weekend is looking fairly pleasant, temperatures will finally be given a chance to get closer to seasonal and we should see highs in the 60s Saturday afternoon.
Sunshine will be patchy for early parts of the weekend but by Saturday evening most of the clouds should of cleared out.
Partly sunny skies will linger through Sunday, but will start to build back up by late Sunday night.
Those with any plans this weekend should be able to take advantage of the weather as it will be a welcomed change from what we've been seeing this winter.
