A suspect wanted in connection with an April shooting in Lafayette in now behind bars. Leonard Perro is charged with two counts of attempted first-degree murder. Lafayette police say Perro shot at a man near a home in the 100 block of Tyrona Drive following a domestic disturbance with his ex-spouse. Perro was arrested by U. S. Marshals near Dallas earlier this month and has been returned to the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center.
