Bike paths, a dog park, playgrounds, hiking trails and botanical gardens are just a few ideas brought up in the first round of forums for the 100-acre horse farm property on Johnston Street.
The second phase of the community forums are happening this week. This allows people to share their ideas of what the farm should ultimately look like.
There are two forums today one from 11a.m. - 1p.m. at The South Regional Library, 6101 Johnson Street and the other from 6p.m. - 8p.m. at The Petroleum Club Ballroom, 111 Heymann Boulevard.
There are daily updates and where you can post questions and park ideas on the LCP's Facebook page at Facebook.com/LafayetteCentralPark. Also for information on the forums this week and to take the online survey go to LafayetteCentralPark.org.
Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend one of the second-phase forums.
