LA Man Accused of Pulling Gun on Deputy

BILOXI, Miss. (AP) - A Louisiana man accused of pulling a gun on
a deputy in Mississippi is being held on $1.2 million bond after a
judge refused to lower the amount.
Harrison County Justice Court Judge Diane Ladner heard testimony
last week against Kenneth Dubroc Jr., and bound the charges over to
a grand jury.
Deputy Russell Holliman says he was on patrol Dec. 14 when
Dubroc fought with the deputy, then pulled a handgun and pointed it
at him.
The Sun Herald reported that sworn statements indicate the gun
was pointed at the deputy's chest, but the officer had his Taser
drawn and immobilized Dubroc.
Dubroc, a 33-year-old man from Walker, La., was wanted on a
fugitive warrant for a parole violation.
