The Susan G. Komen On the GoTM Tour Brings Life-Saving Messages to Acadiana
Today the Acadiana Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® will host Komen On the GoTM in the Small Business Development Center parking lot at 220 East Saint Mary Boulevard on the UL Lafayette campus. The Susan G. Komen On the GoTM mobile experience educates and engages people of all ages in the breast cancer movement where they live, work and play. This fun, hands-on experience features computer kiosks chock full of information on the breast cancer movement, life-saving recommendations about breast self awareness, inspirational videos, and a "graffiti wall" for sharing memories or pledging support for the cause. Other perks include information on how to volunteer, details on the Komen Acadiana Race for the Cure and tips on supporting loved ones facing breast cancer.
