MONREO, La. (AP) - Louisiana's Second Circuit Court of Appeal,
featuring three northeastern Louisiana judges, is taking the bench
on the road later this month.
The News-Star reported on Tuesday that a panel that includes
Judge Milton Moore of Monroe, Judge Larry Lolley of Monroe and
Judge Felicia Williams of Tallulah will hear oral arguments in
Brown Auditorium at the University of Louisiana at Monroe on Sept.
Moore says they want to provide area citizens and students an
opportunity to witness firsthand the variety and complexity of the
court's case load.
The panel will hear two civil appeals and three consolidated
criminal appeals. The argument session is open to the public. Area
college students have been invited to attend.
