BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Gov. Bobby Jindal's getting in a fundraiser and a campaign stop when he travels to St. Louis for his brother's wedding.
Jindal's office said the governor was heading to Missouri on Friday. He planned to attend a fundraiser for his gubernatorial re-election campaign on Friday and stop by Republican U.S. Senate candidate Roy Blunt's campaign headquarters on Saturday to visit
with phone bank volunteers.
Then, later Saturday, Jindal planned to attend his brother's wedding.
Jindal's office says the governor will return to Baton Rouge on Sunday.
In recent weeks, Jindal has campaigned for a gubernatorial candidate in California, met with fellow Republican governors in Ohio and attended fundraisers for Republicans in Minnesota, Florida
and Georgia. He's also scheduled to travel to New Hampshire later this month to stump for a gubernatorial candidate.
