Jindal: "mission is not accomplished."

Governor Bobby Jindal takes the oath of office at the Old State Capitol and faces a list of challengers to cover in his second term.

"I, Bobby Jindal, do solemnly swear that I will faithfully and impartially discharge and perform all duties incumbent upon me."

Governor Jindal is entering his second term. Calling it, "unfinished business."

"We must not rest on our laurels." Jindal says, "We can either go forward or backwards; those are really our only two options."

Moving forward, the Governor says, means reform in both state spending and education.

"As long as there's waste and inefficiency in government, our mission is not accomplished," Jindal said. "As long as there are children not receiving a quality education here in Louisiana, our mission is not accomplished."

However, in this second term, the challenges run deeper. Jindal says his priority this time around is to improve the quality of life for everyone in the state.

"My plan for the next four years is simple." The Governor says, "we plan to make Louisiana a great place to raise a family and find a good paying job."
