This morning students from Highland Baptist Christian School will participate in "Consequences of Impact," a mock crash involving impaired and distracted driving. Students involved will act out a fatal crash scenario in front of their peers, allowing the students to see first-hand how drinking, driving and poor decisions affect everyone involved.
The mock crash will promote open and trusting relationships between parents and teens. "Consequences of Impact" will also emphasize the usage of seat belts and the emotional suffering families endure when a fatal crash occurs in reality.
