Gunmen Rob Chatham Bank

CHATHAM, La. (AP) - Police are looking for two men who robbed a
bank in Chatham on Friday.
Jackson Parish Sheriff Andy Brown tells the News-Star
(http://bit.ly/n9MECr ) that the incident occurred around 11:45
a.m. when two men dressed in dark clothing entered Peoples Bank in
Chatham.
Brown says both men were armed. One shot his pistol into the
ceiling before ordering everyone inside to get down and stay where
they were.
No one was injured.
Brown says the second man jumped over the counter and put money
in his backpack.
Brown said the robbers stole a large sum, but he wouldn't
disclose the amount.
