Several water systems have lifted boil advisories put in place earlier this week after freezing temperatures caused water pressure to drop.
The Turkey Creek Water System, the Lawtell Water System, and the Grand Coteau Water System all lifted their advisories this morning.
Water samples collected from those systems tested negative for harmful bacteria, resulting in the advisories being canceled. Officials from those water systems say their water is once again safe to drink.
