BATON ROUGE - Today, Governor Bobby Jindal sent the following letter to Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels and enclosed a New Orleans Saints Flag for Governor Daniels to fly around the Indiana State Capitol to honor the friendly wager between the two Governors.
The letter to Governor Daniels is below and the picture of the flag is attached to this release.
Governor Daniels,
Congratulations on the Indianapolis Colts' journey to Super Bowl XLIV - it was an outstanding game where both the Saints and the Colts played remarkably well.
What amazing news that the Saints vs. the Colts Super Bowl was the number one most viewed program in the nation's history and I couldn't be more proud that the entire world had an opportunity to witness the excellent sportsmanship that both teams displayed.
Enclosed is a New Orleans Saints flag that you can fly wherever you decide around the Indiana Capitol as promised in our friendly wager. We look forward to seeing a photo of where you decide to fly it so we can share it with the Who Dat Nation back here in Louisiana.
It was great to visit with you in Miami. I wish you, your state, and the Indianapolis Colts the best of luck in the future.
Sincerely,
Governor Bobby Jindal
P.S.- Geaux Saints.
