Now that the precipitation has cleared on and we're starting to see fair skies there is only one direction the temperature can head and that is down.
Expect conditions to get frigid once again Thursday night with lows dipping down into the upper 20s.
The National Weather Service has issued a Hard Freeze Warning for a thin band of the central parishes including St. Landry and Avoyelles and stretching west into Texas.
Those of you with tender vegetation will want to cover them up and bring your pets inside, but the pipes will be fine.
Increasing cloud cover expected on Friday with the chance for late afternoon NON-FROZEN showers lingering into early parts of Saturday.
The good news is that the skies will clear for the weekend and temperatures will try and bounce back to seasonal.
