The National Hurricane Center has downgraded Tropical Storm Gabrielle to a Tropical Depression. Using radar and satellite data, along with reconnaissance information, it seems Gabrielle has weakened now with winds 35mph. The low level center is poorly defined near the Puerto Rican coast while the mid level circulation may be closer to the Virgin Islands. The official forecast now calls for a weakening Gabrielle eventually dissipating over the next couple of days.
