After another freezing/frosty start Friday, milder afternoon temperatures are in the forecast into the weekend.
Look for mostly sunny skies for our Black Friday afternoon with highs in the upper 50s to near 60.
Acadiana could see another frost Saturday morning as temperatures drop into the mid-30s. Thereafter most of us will be able to uncover the plants with mild conditions likely for the next week.
Highs this weekend will top out in the mid 60s with mostly sunny skies Saturday and high clouds invading for Sunday.
A weak disturbance will bring plenty of clouds Monday along with a slight chance of a passing shower.
Partly cloudy and mild conditions are expected for Tuesday.
It will be much warmer for the rest of the week with partly to mostly cloudy skies Wednesday through Friday with daytime highs reaching the mid-upper 70s.
There will be the risk of scattered showers Wednesday and Thursday with a better chance of showers, maybe some thuderstorms, next Friday as the next front approaches.
It looks cooler/colder for next weekend (especially Sunday) but an active sub-tropical jet stream means that we could see a return of chilly rains/drizzle.
