Former Ouachita deputy's arraignment reset

MONROE, La. (AP) - The arraignment of a former Ouachita Parish school resource officer has been reset to Friday.

Twenty-nine-year-old Michael D. Siddon is charged with one count of indecent behavior with a juvenile and one count of malfeasance.

The News-Star reports his arraignment was originally set for Wednesday at the Ouachita Parish Courthouse, but it was reset for Friday morning so Judge Glynn Roberts of Rayville could preside.

Charles Kincade, Siddon's attorney, said judges with the 4th Judicial District Court recused themselves because Siddon has a relative who works for the court.

Siddon was fired and arrested Sept. 17 after being accused of inappropriate behavior with a juvenile.
