After a rather unsettled weekend, the weather forecast will be back up to it's usual tricks with a tropical summer forecast over the next several days.
The deep atmospheric moisture we've had to deal with the last few days will move east, leaving us with standard moisture levels.
That is to say expect humid conditions this week, forcing the heat index into the upper 90s and flirting with the century mark.
After a very quick break from the heat, summer temperatures will return this week so much hotter then it's been the last few days.
Showers will become more isolated for the start of the week and will be more pop-up in nature, which will provide some relief to the rain soaked areas from this weekend.
A deep trough will develop to our east which could lead to some we conditions to our neighbors to the east, but may also mean rain chances increase late this week.
