The weather pattern couldn't be much better as Acadiana cruises into the biggest festival of the year, Festival International!
Look for mostly sunny skies (after a little patchy morning fog) for our Wednesday with highs topping-out in the low-mid 80s.
Mild conditions will continue into Wednesday evening with lows in the low-mid 60s along with the chance of some fog again by Thursday morning.
A few more clouds can be expected Thursday with highs in the lower 80s.
Rain chances will stay very slight for the rest of the week into the weekend with partly to at times mostly cloudy skies, accompanied by breezy southerly winds.
Temperatures into the weekend will continue in the low-mid 80s while night time lows get closer to 70 by Sunday morning.
Changes will be coming next week with a slow moving upper level low pressure system allowing for a good chance of storms by late Monday, perhaps into Tuesday.
A fairly strong cold front will follow likely bringing our daytime temperatures down into the 60s while overnight lows could drop into the upper 40s mid-late next week!
