Light rain developed over southeastern Texas last night, it made its way over the western portions of Acadiana today, expect only very light rain to continue to spread slowly east over the region. Expect trace to a few hundredths in accumulation amounts.

Going for only 20% rain chances overnight about 30% near and off our coastal waters. Clouds should mainly hold overnight limiting very cold temps, however...still going to be a chilly evening, lows in the mid 40s with a north breeze between 5-15mph.

Monday should be a mild/comfortable day with much more sunshine, highs in the low 60s. Another round of impulses making forecasting once again challenging this coming week. Not complete sunshine this week, times of cloud cover will be possible along with the opportunity for rain as early as Wednesday night into Thursday.

At least temperatures should be closer to February normals as Canadian high pressure surges slight cooler temps over the region. Highs in the 60s, lows in the 40s.
