On Wednesday, July 10, Cenikor Foundation celebrated the grand opening of an outpatient facility, Care Counseling Services, in Jennings, Louisiana. The facility is located at 221 East Academy and is formerly the Jeff Davis Addictive Disorders Clinic.
More than 25 people attended the ribbon cutting including Judge Daniel Stretcher, Tanya McGee from Office of Behavioral Health in Lake Charles, Michelle McInnis from United Way of Southeast Louisiana, State Senator Willie Mount, Wendell Miller former President of Jeff Davis Addictive Disorders Clinic, Judge Fred A. Godwin (Ret.) and other community members. The facility offers outpatient counseling services to individuals in Jeff Davis parish.
Jeff Davis Addictive Disorders Clinic has served adults with chemical dependence in Jeff Davis Parish for more than 25 years. "Cenikor is continuing to provide services in this area of Louisiana," says Bill Bailey, President and CEO of the Cenikor Foundation. "We have a strong presence in the Baton Rouge area and in Lake Charles, so this helps bridge Cenikor's service gap."
