A cold front Sunday dropped our temperatures and cool conditions will linger for the early part of the week. Most areas today will remain cloudy with some rain possible south of I-10 during the morning. The cold front is well offshore and winds are out of the North today. This will hold our high temperatures in the low 60s, or about 10 degrees below normal.
The clouds will clear out tonight allowing temperatures to drop into the lower 40s. Sunshine returns Tuesday, but it will be cool and breezy with highs in the mid 60s. Another cold night Tuesday night as lows dip to near 40. Chilly air remains in place Wednesday with increasing cloud cover and highs again in the low 60s.
Warmer weather kicks back in Thursday into the weekend, but a good amount of moisture will return as well. This should bring a much better chance for rain and thunderstorms Thursday into Friday. The weekend looks warm and dry.
