Stubborn cloud cover was the name of the game on Saturday and it doesn't look like conditions will be changing much for the end of the weekend.
Sunday will provide low level clouds that get locked in place to wrap up the weekend, with the sun trying to poke through at times but being largely unsuccessful.
Even so some areas across Acadiana may see patchy sunshine but pinpointing exactly where the sun breaks through is anyone's guess.
Despite the cloud cover temperatures will continue to warm as winds from the southwest will push in some warmth.
The forecast becomes much more interesting entering the work week as a front moves through and stalls offshore allowing several unsettled days to start the week.
Best rain chances now will be late Tuesday but models have gone back and forth as to exactly when it will start raining so for now we will pin Tuesday as being the wettest day.
