Carnival Cruise's ships are back in the Gulf of Mexico today after Tropical Storm Karen disrupted the cruise line's operations.
The Carnival Elation set sail this morning on a three-day cruise. That voyage was originally supposed to begin on Saturday and last for five days. Customers who opted to continue with the trip received a 50% discount and a 50% discount on a future cruise.
The Carnival Conquest will set sail later today on a six-day excursion. That trip was originally scheduled for seven days. Customers who decided to continue with the cruise will receive a one-day pro-rated refund.
