The California Highway Patrol says nine people, all but two of them high school students, have been killed in a three-vehicle crash on Interstate 5 in Northern California, about 90 minutes north of Sacramento. Investigators say a FedEx delivery truck crossed a grass median and slammed into a bus, causing an explosion and fire. The bus was carrying students to a college tour. It's possible the truck driver may have been trying to avoid a car that was also involved. The drivers of the truck and charter bus were killed.
