A man wrongfully arrested in connection with a 2010 armed robbery has settled his lawsuit against the Breaux Bridge Police Department.
Stephan Barker spent six months in jail for the crime, which police later admitted he did not commit. The arresting officer, Raymond Calais, was later convicted of perjury and malfeasance in office.
Court documents do not outline the terms of the settlement. Calais's attorney was not available for comment.
