The Town of Arnaudville will shut-off part of its water system April 29th to replace a leaking valve at the intersection of Main Street and Guidroz Street.
Therefore, as a precaution, the Town of Arnaudville is issuing a BOIL ADVISORY effective 8:00 AM, Tuesday, April 29, 2014 for the affected area. This BOIL ADVISORY is to remain in effect until rescinded by the Town of Arnaudville water supply system.
It is recommended that all customers disinfect their water in these areas before consuming it (including fountain drinks), making ice, brushing teeth, using it for food preparation or rinsing of foods by the following means:
Boil water for one (1) full minute in a clean container. The one minute starts after the water has been brought to a tolling boil. (The flat taste can be eliminated by shaking the water in a clean bottle, pouring it from one container to another, or by adding a pinch of salt to each quart of water that is boiled.
If you have any concerns or questions regarding the time and days please contact the Town of Arnaudville at (337) 754-5911.
