Summer is a great time for team sporting activities such as baseball, soccer, swimming, tennis and even bowling. One of the best parts of joining a team is receiving your new uniform to proudly wear as you take to the field, court or lanes.
But one company has multiple complaints alleging they received paid orders for uniforms and delivering nothing more than broken promises.
Better Business Bureau of Acadiana is alerting consumers, businesses and, yes, sports organizations, to Team Uniforms 123, LLC of Millersville, Md.
According to BBB reports, the company currently has 47 complaints filed across the U.S., including Louisiana, for not filling paid orders for team uniforms.
Team Uniforms 123 has also failed to address a pattern of allegations from teams in more than 20 states that started their season without uniforms that were ordered and paid in full.
The business currently has and F rating with BBB, the lowest possible. Factors that lowered Team Uniforms 123 LLC's rating include 47 complaints filed against business, failure to respond to 42 complaints filed against business, three complaints filed against business that were not resolved and an overall complaint history with BBB.
The address for Team Uniforms 123 is a UPS store location.
The company also has a pending Government Action, as June 11, the Maryland Attorney General's Office filed suit against Team Uniforms 123, LLC and two other related companies. Charges filed allege the business had taken thousands of dollars from consumers for custom uniforms that were not provided as promised. The matter is pending.
