A Baton Rouge teenager accused of firing randomly into a large crowd, killing one person and wounding another, has been indicted on murder and attempted murder charges.
The Advocate reports an East Baton Rouge Parish grand jury Thursday charged 18-year-old Brandon Boyd with second-degree murder in the March 18 shooting death of 24-year-old Emanuelle Myles. Myles was shot in the head.
Boyd also was indicted on an attempted second-degree murder charge in the wounding of a 19-year-old man. That man was shot in the arm.
Boyd's case has been assigned to state District Judge Don Johnson.
It was unclear whether he has an attorney.
