An audit of the Turkey Creek has found that the village's government may have violated the state's bid law.
The audit says the village did not seek public bids on items it purchased costing more than $30,000, which is against state law.
In her response to the finding, Mayor Heather Cloud says the city will begin implementing measures to make sure that the village council bids out purchases that cost more than the legal limit.
