Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office have arrested a suspect in the Anderson Street shooting that took place on Saturday, July 26.
Forest Hogan, 23 of New Iberia, has been arrested for Attempted First Degree Murder and Armed Robbery. Hogan was arrested on Sunday, July 27 at 5:30 a.m. at a residence located in the 900 block of Mississippi Street in New Iberia without incident.
His arrest stems from an alleged Saturday evening shooting and robbery of a 29-year-old male victim on Anderson Street near the intersection with Mixon Street. Hogan was identified as having fired the shot which struck the victim in the leg.
Hogan was booked into the Iberia Parish Jail without bond.
Detectives are continuing their investigation and additional arrests are expected.
