In Evangeline Parish, we learned Lee not only left behind huge piles of debris but the storm also left many people without electricity.
Residents on Crooked Creek Parkway say they felt the effects of the storm and are now dealing with the aftermath.
Ted Guillory says he expected some heavy rain but not to return from out of town to a powerless home, utility poles snapped in half and trees no longer standing.
Guillory says he and his family are planning to camp in the their front yard until power is restored.
Guillory's neighbor, Bill Godron says he lost power Sunday evening and since then he's been depending on his generator for electricity.
A Cleco spokesperson says 90 percent of residents in Pine Prairie can expect to have power again by the end of Monday night .
