Super Regional tickets for this weekend's series between the Ragin' Cajuns and the Rebels will become available to the general public beginning Thursday at 10 a.m., says a spokesperson for the university's athletic office.
The NCAA provides for an allotment of 600 tickets to the University of Mississippi, which represents an increase in visiting-team allotment from previous postseasons.
As for the tickets available to University of Louisiana, the host school, season-ticket holders were given first opportunity, prior to the regional tournament at Tigue Moore Field, to be invoiced for Super Regional tickets. Those season ticket holders, who opted for Regional and Super Regional tickets, have until Wednesday at 5 p.m. to settle their finalized invoices.
Ragin' Cajun Athletic Fund (RCAF) donors likewise have until 5 p.m. to finalize their orders as well. Orders for RCAF donors will be prioritized in the order of donation level, beginning with the highest monetary givers. According to athletic department officials, RCAF donors increase their chances of acquiring any available tickets by increasing their Annual Fund gift online by midnight on Tuesday, June 3. Donors simply would log on to RaginCajuns.com and click on the "RCAF" button.
The Cajundome Box Office will contact donors who are eligible to purchase tickets on Thursday.
The athletic department said that orders for remaining tickets will be opened to the general public, after RCAF orders have been completed, after the box office opens Thursday morning. University officials say that they anticipate that there may be a limited number of tickets available to non-season ticket holders for this Super Regional series.
