The second annual Ride for Rox will take place Saturday, March 23, 2013 in Grand Coteau.
The event is in memory of Roxanne Richard who was killed when hit by a car while riding her bicycle on the I-49 access road near Grand Coteau in October 2011.
Riders can choose from four routes to suit different interests and ability levels:
1) 7 a.m. start for 65 mile route
2) 8 a.m. start for 50 mile route
3) 9 a.m. start for 30 mile route
4) 10 a.m. start for 10 mile route
All rides will begin and end at the Noble Plastics, 318 Burleigh Lane in Grand Coteau.
The $35 registration fee includes t-shirt (guaranteed if pre-registered by 3/15), SAG, maps, road markings, lunch, & raffle entry for door prizes.
