March 15 will mark the 15th Annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure® in Lafayette. Since 1999, Komen Acadiana has raised over $2.7 million for breast cancer research, screening, education and treatment for its six-parish service area. Race registration is now open, and the public is invited to join in the fight against breast cancer by creating a race fundraising team today.
Team Captains can pick up packets for their entire team, captains just need to bring a list of their team members. Anyone who has yet to register for Race for the Cure may register onsite at packet pickup on this day.
To register or pickup your packet today stop by the Komen office at 303 Chance Street, off of Bertrand until 6 p.m. Saturday morning packets are available at 7 a.m. at Parc Sans Souci.
