BILOXI, Miss. (AP) - A two-vehicle accident in Biloxi has the lives of two St. Tammany Parish residents and sent two others to the hospital.
Harrison County Coroner Gary Hargrove says the accident happened around 8:35 p.m. Thursday on U.S. Highway 90 in front of the Isle Casino.
Hargrove identified the dead as 71-year-old Harrietta Brockett of Covington, La, and 84-year-old Alvin Perrault Sr. of Mandeville, La. They were passengers in the car eastbound on Highway 90, turning onto Myrtle Avenue. The driver and the other passenger in the car were taken to the hospital.
Hargrove tells WLOX-TV the driver of an SUV was traveling westbound on Highway 90 and struck the Accord on the passenger side of the car. He sustained no injuries.
