SPRING, Texas - The Harris County Sheriff's Office said one person is dead after a stabbing at a local high school.
It happened around 7:10 a.m. Wednesday at Spring High School off I-45.
Authorities said the school's nurse called police saying as many as five patients had been stabbed. The sheriff's office has not confirmed the number of those injured; however, Life Flight airlifted a 16-year-old boy to Memorial Hermann Hospital.
Cy-Creek EMS said the other patients were transported via ambulance to the Houston Northwest Medical Center.
