Today marks an extra special day for the eighth graders graduating from Stephensville Elementary School in St. Martin Parish. The three-month-old and 37-year-old man had minor injuries and were treated and released from the hospital. The man accused of crashing into them is still in the hospital but will be soon be released.
Dwayne Shaw will then be the sheriff's office custody and booked into jail. Many Facebook followers have questioned why wasn't Shaw charged with attempted murder. His current charges were determined after investigating deputies consulted with the district attorney.

Three arrests, including a juvenile, have been made in connection with the early morning armed robbery of two elderly women.

Port Barre police are looking for 24-year-old Wayne Bolden, Jr. He's wanted for battery on a police officer and resisting an officer, according to Port Barre Police Chief Deon Boudreaux.
Bolden also has a warrant issued through the 19th Judicial District Court in East Baton Rouge Parish for contempt of court for failure to appear for probation revocation hearing. Anyone knowing his whereabouts is asked to call Port Barre Police Dept. at 337-585-6212.
