Lafayette Police are confirming that Mickey Shunick's bike has been found beneath the Whiskey Bay I-10 Bridge at Exit #127. Some local fisherman located the bike and notified police through the tips line. The entire area and the river are being searched for clues and evidence. Police are asking the public to remain out of the area so that law enforcement officials can search. The case remains under investigation.

Lafayette Police confirm they have found the bike of Mickey Shunick under the Whiskey Bay exit off Interstate 10. Fishermen called in the information to the police department's tip line. Investigators are continue to collect evidence at the scene.

The Vermilion River was been searched heavily the last few days. Yesterday deputies along with a Texas search company called Equusearch, used Sonar to search the bottom of the river.

Zachary will be getting a $9.3 million upgrade to its sewer collection lines and pumping stations thanks to a loan from the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality.
