Cajun Country 1/2 Marathon, 10k & 5k Trail Run taking place this weekend. The event happens December 14 at 7:30am at
Acadiana Park located at E. Alexander St. in Lafayette. Proceeds benefit TRAIL, a non-profit 501c3 organization dedicated to building and maintaining parks, hiking trails, and other recreational infrastructure in our Acadiana area. Carencro is starting its Christmas season with a "Carencro Country Christmas!" The event is December 7, from 9am to 4pm and free for all who attend. Its a family oriented atmosphere consisting of arts & crafts, food, a choir and much more entertainment.
